Pearl This book is about a gather subsurface diver named kino gum. He and his wife and son are a short family. When his son becomes ill, Kino takes to the sea on a by-line to find some way to save his son. He finds a magnificant pearl. Kino and his wife be sound that they will be wealthly and live the difference of their lives in happiness, but when Kino visits the local pearl handlers, he feels the charges which they offer him are ludicrous and refuses to sell. Kino takes his family and in concert they stage out on a trip to Mexico City, where Kino believes he will get a better price for his astounding pearl.
